Fence Stile Vineyards and Winery is located 40 miles from downtown Kansas City in scenic Excelsior Springs and approximately 2.5 miles from The Elms Hotel and Spa.
While Fence Stile's red, white, sparkling, and rosé wines range from dry to sweet, the winery is best known for its dry and semi-dry wines produced from estate French-American hybrid and native grapes. Six acres of vineyards were planted in 2007 and another four acres were later added.
The tasting room was established in 2009. Used to store bottled and barreled wine, the wine cave at Fence Stile is a winery feature unique to the region.
The Wine Cave Tour and Tasting offers guests an opportunity to explore the wine cave.
Seasonal events include live music on Saturdays, Wine Dinners, FirePit Fridays, harvest parties, and Wine Club parties.
